Intelligence, Please…

After discovering that movies could be streamed instantly to an Xbox 360 console for a small, recurring monthly fee without having to pay per view, I’ve been on a HUGE Netflix kick…yes, I know I’m about a decade behind the curve on this, but I just signed up in August which, in retrospect, was probably a really bad idea since I started graduate school in September…but I digress. Ah, yes, I signed up in August and, after being inspired by some blogger friends back home, I’ve been reviewing films on Facebook every so often (a feature which I hope to add here):

But again, I digress. As an avid sci-fi geek (no, I will not spell that word with the letter “y”), I’ve never really had much occasion or interest to watch many westerns, even though an interesting sub-genre was birthed within science fiction. I have, however, watched a few in my day, and being a Netflix junkie subscriber has given me the chance to explore the genre…which brings me to the purpose of today’s post: who is the most badass cowboy character of all? I got the idea from Cracked.com’s 9 Manliest Names in the World. It’s been tough to sort out, since cowboys are badasses for different reasons. I encourage you to use the comments section to tell me about anyone who I’ve left off the list, especially if you vote “Other,” but here are a few of my favorites, in no particular order (WARNING: R-rated language in most videos):
